Laminate in simple terms is HDF (high density fibreboard) similar to kitchen worktops but a lot denser. It then has a photograph bonded to it before it is laminated.
There are of course different types of laminates some have a very poor quality wear layer, the ones that we support are all quality products.
It is always best to fit wood products after they have been acclimatised, the time varies. It is best to contact us direct regarding this matter.
